I discovered Plickity Plunk Press in Somerset Studio
Magazine while visiting a friend in Washington state. I am a writer
and was so touched by the spirit of your work.

Magic...*****
Mimi
Halo speaks magic--both in her writing and tapes. Her talent is both
timeless and ageless. I just loved ShadowTracks®.

A
Beautiful and sensitive allegory of nature
*****
It's
very good. It's very very good. Quite a heartfelt journey. I really
enjoyed it.... ShadowTracks® is not only a love story, but
a story of growing up, learning about your surrounding, strengths, limitations,
and discovering that, in love, you're not alone.
Ms. Halo
is one of those unique individuals who is quite able to translate a
child-like wonderment of this world to an adult level of fascination
that reaches deep into our inner-child, gently holding our fragile imagination,
allowing it, like leaves of a tree, to blossom forth with rich colors
and vivid images.

A
great gift for Christmas - a present to keep *****
The
heartfelt end comes too soon. Yet there it remains in a not dead state...
but a state of continual crystallization.

A
pleasant nature/fantasy escape *****
What
a pleasant escape into the world of Jymee and his forest friends. Mimi
Halo captures the style of Merry Old England as we peer into the feelings
of a simple acorn on its life journey. The poetic prose is refreshing.
A "must read" for the stressed...it'll make you smile.

I
couldn't put it down *****
I
finished ShadowTracks® in two days and am reading it for
the second time. To me, it is a beautifully written inspirational book.
It made me think about things I haven't thought about for many years,
and I couldn't put it down.

I
loved the story *****
The
characters were lovable. I think my favorite was Sea~mor. The message
I liked was that 'endings' we humans hate the most, are just beginnings.
That life is ever changing and through all the changes, our spirits
are still much the same. I was impressed that it was not religiously
challenging...in that no matter how I believe, it was not against the
grain shall we say. The story speaks to the child in all of us, who
are missing loved ones, or seemingly missing.

A
collection of feelings put into words *****
I
found this book emotionally moving. There were many times I had to put
it aside, because of all I got in touch with within myself.

I
enjoyed it so much
*****
I
really, really didn't want it to end, although I have every intention
to read it again. I enjoyed it so very much. When are you going to write
another? If I could afford it, I would send one to everyone I know.
It will make great birthday gifts.
