The Traditional Book Personal Library with Mimi Halo, Publisher Plickity Plunk Press

In this 1-day 7-hour workshop, you will create a 96-page journal-size hardcover book using the tools and techniques developed by PP-Press for its museum-store L.E. collections.

Honoring the environment, you will work with e-green premium papers and professional quality book matter to create the Case and the Bookblock—followed by the Case-In & Paste-Down.

With the material list, you are asked to bring your own cover material and 2-covered masonry bricks: essential for the stabilizing and construction process.

The Medieval Open-Back ... Traveler with Mimi Halo, Publisher Plickity Plunk Press

In this 1-day, 7-hour workshop, you will learn to make a PP-Press Medieval 'Traveler': an
84-page hardcover open-back hand-sewn signature-style book.

Cover design and book structure will be applied, as you integrate the sewing of signatures and covers using imported irish waxed linen thread.

You will choose a landscape or portrait orientation for this 5-1/2" x 4-1/2" rustic treasure.

Embellishment posibilities make it a perfect workshop to consider Piecemakers' charms, laces, ribbons, and natural accents.

This advance hands-on workshop involves a one-thread sewing technique.
